Browser: Chrome Version 83.0.4103.97 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Branch: master
Commit mode: advanced
Observed in a customer project:
1. Make code edit to any layout in custom-elements folder. Save changes. Commit buttons do not appear.
2. Refresh and the buttons appear as they should
3. Intermittently when doing the above steps, the left menu will disappear entirely and can't be brought back unless refreshing.
4. When making a commit with a message and hitting save, the commit buttons do not change. Trash and Commit buttons still present - was expecting green push button after making a commit.
Bug summary:
When using intermediate / advanced commit mode, first event is not handled properly: e.g. you need to save twice for the commit button to appear.
This happens only in Designer, on all browsers.
Expected:
Any action should update the UI at first try.
