Designer: Configure button can be non-functional

How to reproduce:

• In Modeler, create a Doc document type then go in Designer
• Configure all layouts of the Doc type
• open the Create view in "switch to code" view and erase all content and save then click on the "Doc" link then "create" link
  ==> You get the "Configure" button: press it, it does not work (runs forever)
• go to Doc type, and revert configuration for Create view
  ==> You get the "Configure" button: press it, it does not work (runs forever)
• go to Doc type, and press "Configure" for the Create view
  ==> works!
