In a demo, clicking on a video document sometime just freezes the browser (using latest version - 65.0.3325.181 - of Chrome).
The symptom is:
- Search for documents
- In the thumbnails, click a Video document to open it
- Chrome freezes and becom unresponsive. Sometime, you still can click the "reload" button, but, often, you can't. And reloading, anyway, does not solve anything
Chrome has to be quit, and most often force-quit
Test done with Chrome on Mac OS High Sierra, the server is deployed on an AWS instance, with S3 binary manager, CloudFront support and embedded elasticsearch. Videos can be hudge and stored in S3 + Using Cloud Front, but it happened also for small videos (~30MB).
Not tested with other browsers
One big problem is that it is not 100% reproductible. I tried in the past 10 mn and had no issues, and can't figure out what the pattern is.
