The CAP Back Office should have a flat search browsing view, a bit like the one that was in the DAM plugin, organised this way (see screenshots in the attached zip):
- Search filters (with aggregates support, see
NXP-14882) on the left - Thumbnails view on the middle. (by default, and can be switched to traditional listing).
Thumbnail view displays the following metadata:
=>title, size, mime-type, latest contributor, modification date
This is configurable via Studio
There is no "document view" on the right, on the contrary to the current DAM view.
When activating the slideshow mode, the document is displayed on the left part, while the right part displays the following information about the document:
- get rendition links
- metadata (view layout)
- comments
- status
and the following “actions”:
- get permalink
- download (we should in the future provide as many links as there are renditions)
- follow
- bookmark
- Go to folder
Since when the thumbnail view is enabled, the way to sort the result can't be by clicking on column header (there is no column), there should be some sort bubbles if you click on it, it changes the sort (or a combo box: sort by). This new way of sorting the result should be generalised.
The “Save this search action” should be on the result template, not on the filter one and visible wether you are in thumbnail or listing mode.
NB: As a consequence of this new tab, the DAM view is no more necessary when installing the DAM package, and should be removed from that assembly.
