Comparing Versions is populating data with special characters

Noticing special characters being added when doing version comparisons.
Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a new File document or have an existing one
2. Create a minor version for this document
3. Edit the document and add the following to the dc:description field

   IINDUSTRY:\nHigher Education\nCHALLENGE:\nTo meet the growing IT demands of its\nfaculty and students, a fast-growing\nresearch university faced a renovate-\nor-buy decision.\nSOLUTION:\nTier III certified Iron Mountain Data\nCenter with 24x7x365 support, data\nmodules, and integrated DCIM software
   

4. Do a version comparison
5. Notice that there are no special characters (screenshot attached: VersionCompare1.png)
6. Create another minor version of the document
7. Edit the document again and add cccc after CHALLENGE: in the dc:description so that it now looks like

   IINDUSTRY:\nHigher Education\nCHALLENGE:cccc\nTo meet the growing IT demands of its\nfaculty and students, a fast-growing\nresearch university faced a renovate-\nor-buy decision.\nSOLUTION:\nTier III certified Iron Mountain Data\nCenter with 24x7x365 support, data\nmodules, and integrated DCIM software
   

8. Do another version comparison
9. Notice the special characters that now appear (screenshot attached: VersionCompare2.png)

The special characters do not appear in the JSON export of the document.
