Compare Versions doesn't show data for multivalued vocabulary/document fields

When doing 'Compare Versions' on a document where for instance dc:subjects has the same entries in both versions, the comparison shows dc:subjects as empty.
Steps to Reproduce:

1. Create a file document and populate the dc:subjects field
2. Create a version of this document
3. Edit the document (e.g. modify dc:description field)
4. Click the Compare Versions button
5. Check the box to "View All Data"
6. Scroll down to the "DUBLINCORE" section

Expected Results: The subjects field is populated with the same value for both versions
Actual Results: The subjects field is empty
