rows and cols values, as well as size, are not taken into account on subwidgets

I have a complex field with two substrings. For the first one I put a text widget, the second one a textarea. I had respectively (as custom properties) size (for text widget) and rows and cols values (for textarea). None of the values is taken into account, while it is on simple properties.3
