A contract renewal period is typically 1 to 3 years long.
Some days before proiect expiration, the contract is renewed and the renewal date is propagated to the Studio project.
Customer then, according to the Nuxeo documentation and the contract terms, renew the registration of its production instances : https://doc.nuxeo.com/nxdoc/registering-your-nuxeo-instance/#renewing-registration-for-your-nuxeo-instance
It has been found that some customers, for whom instances have no access to connect.nuxeo.com, registration of instances are considered stale after 365 days and deleted from connect.nuxeo.com.
At project renewal period, customers enquire about their registered instances and do not retrieve them, and open Support tickets to request what is happening with their subscriptions.
Expectation is that a subscription registration should not vanish or should be advertised and explained at deletion time.
