Prevent lost focus when setting templatecolumns value

When setting a value for templatecolumns, if you don't type fast enough the focus on the field is lost.

During our usability test sessions, people were trying to type 2fr, 1fr and lost focus after typing 2. They assumed the field would only accept integer values because of that.
