Document types defined in Studio registries (via application definition packages selection, for instance) are seen as "Local" document types by the View Designer.
They should be either part of the "Builtin" document types, or from a new section: this can be confusing when defining views for document types that are not defined locally, but imported thanks to packages selection or thanks to registries.
Steps to reproduce (with registries):
- In modeler, go to Registries > Document Types
- Open the "See Example" section and click on "Insert": this will define the document types "MyFile" and "MyNote"
- Go to View Designer: both document types are listed in the "Local Document Types" section
Steps to reproduce (with packages):
- In modeler, in Application Definition, select the "easyshare" package
- in View Designer, the "EasyShareFolder" type is listed in the "Local Document Types" section
