Import a Studio External Template

For the Studio Template description (NXS-6123), a user can import a template.

Depending on the Branch Management activation:

• Without BM: a tag will be created on the import
• With BM: a new branch will be created with the import (automatically checked out)

Step1: Confirm the import

• We indicate the import strategy according to BM activation
• If BM, we clearly state the source branch, and the new target branch

Step 2: Install missing addons (Optional)

• If some addons required by the template are not in the Studio Project App Definition, the user is warned that they will be automatically added

Step 3: Override existing Studio features (Optional)

• If some Studio contributions are already present in the Studio project, the user can either cancel the import or force the import (existing elements would be overridden)

Step 4: Import completed

• Depending on the BM activation, we remind to the user if the project is reloaded (without BM) or the new branch will be checked out (with BM)
