Studio Templates saves unwanted files in Designer configuration

When creating a Studio Template from Studio project containing Designer configuration:

• .gitkeep files 
• messages.json file whereas no translation was created

To remove .gitkeep files from the template, I had to use Studio  Git Access. The messages.json file doesn't exist (even when the project is cloned locally), so it is probably a display error: If the Template is imported with an existing messages.json file, it is not erased.
