Fix suggested incorrect release versions in help popup

Seen on a project were maybe release names conventions were not followed?

The release popup suggests invalid versions and then refuses to apply them:

Suggestion: detect the use case to give better suggestions (or at least more helpful advice in the popup if that kind of use case is rare).

Note also the help message had moved in the dialog box, so the error message should be changed ("See help on top of dialog box" is not correct anymore)
