Fix package build when post release changes are deleted

HOW TO REPRODUCE
In Studio

• Switch to intermediate commit mode
• Create a new branch toto
• In branch toto, create a release from the latest commit
• After release creation, delete the work in progress
• Try to download the project's package

=> You are taken to an error page

WORKAROUNDS

• Delete the branch
• Switch back to simple mode

TODO

• After a release is created, the post release commit containing the updated application.xml file should be committed and pushed no matter what commit mode the user is currently using.
