Application template import doesn't create a commit

When importing a template, no commit or any other git action is done. New files on the project are not visible by git it seems. depending on the Save style, it should either do a Save WIP (intermediate and advanced), or a commit&push(simple). In the auto-import case at project creation (where the DM template is imported) we should do a commit on the master branch
