Fix fallback on default target platform

      Description

      For now the fallback still depends on the TARGET_PLATFORM enum, this logic should be adapted to the fact that the "default" fallback target platform can be set as "restricted" (hence no visible to default users).

      This is preventing the code from using 6.0 as default target platform, currently.
