Minor inconsistency in the automation chain editor

To debug my chains, I use the operation Notification > Log that has void/void for input/output.

1) I can't use that Log operation as the first step of a chain (Fetch context document seams compulsory).
2) However I can use that Log operation before other operations that require a Document as input, although Log as no output.

(2) is cool, (1) not.
