      Description

      Date-based versions must be lower than the final version:
      5.5 is newer/greater than 5.5-I20111104_1115 or 5.5-M20111104_1115
      Any version with the pattern VERSION-.AAAAMMJJ.* must be considered as a "date-based" version (i.e. "milestone"), almost a SNAPSHOT.

      That's also true for RC (release candidate), alpha and beta qualifiers.
