Advanced search local configuration is not saved correctly

I have a new content view contributed with studio that is displayed for being selected in the advanced search local configuration, but it looks like the preference is never saved correctly, and as a consequence, I cannot set a different advanced search, whereas the mechanism works for local theme and local content tabs'content view.
