widget modes, unless set explicitely, are now mapped to more generic layout modes: when modes are starting with one of the builtin modes mapped to 'edit' (search, create, edit, bulkEdit), the widget mode will be edit too by default (this used to look for an exact match)

widget modes, unless set explicitely, are now mapped to more generic layout modes: when modes are starting with one of the builtin modes mapped to 'edit' (search, create, edit, bulkEdit), the widget mode will be edit too by default (this used to look for an exact match)

Ideally the same layout definition should be used to:

generate the resulting selected columns, using columns selected by default if no selected columns are set
generate the screen to select rows
generate the screen to select sort information

This should be achieved putting markers on layout rows, or defining properties and them, and giving them names.
