Need better UI feedback when initiating Aspera transfers

As an end user I initiate Aspera transfers but the UI does not indicate that and transfer has been initiated. Sometimes the transfer does not start right away, leading me to click the button again which starts a 2nd transfer. Can this be fixed to avoid user errors?

Steps to reproduce:

• with the apera plugin installed
• select some assets
• initiate an aspera transfer

Expected Result
Immediate feedback in the UI indicating that the transfer has been requested (for example, change the state of the button to indicate a press) and a lock of the request button until the transfer has begun

Current Result
there is no noticeable feedback that the button has been pressed or that the application has registered an action
