The current Kafka library version 2.1.0 contains a bug KAFKA-7755 that prevents to perform a rolling upgrade with nodes that change their IP address (common K8s case).
We should upgrade to the latest stable version in master (2.3.0 today)
and to 2.1.1 in 10.10 to prevent any possible regression.
The documentation needs to be updated as well.
