Add minimal functional testing of rendering packages

The template rendering package has functional tests setup but no test is actually run: the login/logout test will actually help validating startup.
The samples package would benefit from the same test: this will also help validating startup for the nightly demo as this package is deployed on it.

Can be seen as non regression test for regression seen with NXP-26830
