Send only one notification for one multiple-document import

Currently, if I subscribe to (click on the Notify Me document action on) a Folder, and another user drags and drops several hundred documents at once into the folder using the import tab, I receive several hundred emails within a few seconds.

If each document is imported individually, I would expect to receive individual emails. In this case, however, I would expect one email stating something like:

jdoe uploaded 473 documents to My Folder

The email could then either list individual links to the newly added documents, or one link to the folder where the new documents have some kind of "recently added" flair to highlight them from the others .
