Suggestion widget display changed after HF38 installation

1. install Nuxeo
2. install HF37
3. create a note
4. edit the created note by adding subjects
5. save the note
6. observe the subjects are displayed in a row, one behind the other.
7. stop the server
8. install HF38
9. open the same document
10. observe the subjects are now displayed vertically

Expected behavior: the widget display behavior should not change after installing a hotfix.

First analysis: After investigating further, the impacted jar files are nuxeo-platform-ui-select2 and nuxeo-platform-webapp-base. when manually installing those 2 jars from HF38 on top of HF37, the problem is also reproduced.
