Automation Trace if error is missing

    XMLWordPrintable

    Details

    • Type: Bug
    • Status: Resolved
    • Priority: Major
    • Resolution: Fixed
    • Affects Version/s: 9.2
    • Fix Version/s: 9.3
    • Component/s: Automation

      Description

In older versions, if an error occurred during an automation call (chain or script), there was a trace in the logs of the automation operations. In 9.2 I only see a stack trace.

Note that I am not referring to the Automation Trace described in the docs:

      https://doc.nuxeo.com/nxdoc/automation-tracing/

This is a full trace that lists every command. The behavior I'm referring to only printed to the logs if there is an error.

To reproduce create a chain that contains an error, deploy it, and run it. Check the server.log.
