Datepicker doesnt work on IE11

      Description

      On Internet Explorer, the '<paper-input type="date"...>' doesnt work as it should.
      The "value" is never updated with the date.

      more info:

      -the regular '<input type="date"'..> works.

      -<paper-input...> , without 'type=date' also works.
