Search: Error when a document is found that exist in Asset Library after I uninstalled DAM

Steps to reproduce:

1. Install DAM and DM.
2. With a user jdoe, create a file in the Asset Library.
3. Uninstall DAM.
4. Using the faceted search (for instance), search for document whose author is jdoe.
   -> You get an error (see attached stacktrace).

Also, a side effect of this problem is that the user's My documents gadget on his dashboard displays an error:
