Description

In some cases we need to adapt a folder as a FileSystemItem when it is a sync root for at least one user, not necessarily the current (ie. the Drive connected) one.
Typically when:

Unregistering a sync root for a user A as user B (see ~~NXP-12227~~ for an example).
Detecting a security update event triggered by user A (typically an administrator with Manage Everything permission) on a a sync root for user B or one of its children (see ~~NXP-13119~~).
