File is not locked in server after open by Direct Edit

1. install Nuxeo 7.10
2. install Drive client 2.4.8
3. Synch user personal folder
4. Create a word document (or text)
5. Wait for sync server-side
6. Open a browser session and use direct edit on the document
7. Observe there is no notification

Results:

1. Sometimes a notification is displayed but most of the time not
2. Sometimes there is no notification but the logs show a lock being issued and the document is locked server-side:

3. Sometimes there is no notification at all and nothing in the logs
