No menu when update site not reachable

Every time you clic on the systray menu, a request is done to the update website URL. It can be long enough if the server is busy or if you are using a proxy. Not only this does feel like the menu is not responding, but it could block the user to quit Drive and a user can think that Drive is crashed..
