document not locked with windows

Drive Client 2.1.316
MS Office 2016 or LibreOffice 5
Browser Chrome or IE

Using drive edit the document is opened by the office suite but is not locked in nuxeo server. There is also no trace of lock detected inside the debug logs (attached).
The same on OSX with libreoffice works just fine.

As a workaround it is possible to manually lock the file but it is not acceptable when a customer uses Drive Edit exclusively as corruption is likely to arise.
