Do not retry a HTTP call that failed on 500 error

      Description

      HTTP 500 errors are bad as they tell us the server had an issue. Retrying in that case is dangerous and lead to obscure issues when finalizing an upload via S3.

      So just skip retries on HTTP 500 errors.
