There are Sentry events with specific errors about missing OS functions for instance. There are also users that are not aware of the current minimum required OS version to run the application.
The goal is to display a friendly message at startup if the OS version is not supported using native dialog boxes (only on macOS and Windows).
On macOS, it will also link to the minimum supported version download link (this is not obvious as Apple forces the upgrade to the very latest version on the AppleStore).
