To be decided:
- Allowing to customize the executable name may be problematic, to be checked if we really want that level of customization.
- How to really enable customization?
- Meaning that a given customer would need a complete CI infrastuture to build installers and binaries for GNU/Linux, macOS and Windows. Keeping in mind one will also need several certificates to code sign everything, implying additionnal costs.
- Via a server configuration file, such as done with
NXP-23589? If so, at startup, Drive will still be Drive, and when a user connects, it will retrieve the branding informations and restart the application. - Another ideas?
