Explain the risk around building custom nuxeo-results elements

If a layout with Nuxeo.DocumentContentBehavior behavior does not contain nuxeo-results, the UI will break. There are some suggested workarounds from the WebUI team that can be found in the related tickets and in the WebUI channel that I would suggest looking at so that you can request for upgrade notes to be updated. If this isn't done, we risk many customers opening additional support tickets in the future - this is quite likely.
