on time
in jeopardy (within 10% of total days allocated for the task, if possible to derive, or within 2 days
late (after due date)

When the lifecycle of an item is 'done', we stop checking the status
When the lifecycle is not 'done', the status is still checked
A scheduler runs every day to update the facet on items reflecting the progress
