Allow setting operation and params in suggestion widgets

Currently our suggestion widgets rely on hardcoded operations but there are use cases where it could be use different operations (ie to do server side filtering). Even if these other operations will have to expose a compatible API they may require extra parameters so we should make these configurable too.
