      Description

      NOTE: partner bug

If a video is added as attachment to a Video document which has another document as the main file ( file:content) , previewing the attached file which might have xpath as files:files/1/file plays the main and not the attached file. Although previewing the attachment of another type like .jpg correctly displays the attached file.
You can see the example here –

I tried the native Video type provided by Nuxeo and it is having the same issue. I tried to debug the code and it seems that when previewing , conversions collection is accessed and only the conversion for main file is there which is played. This issue is not there with other files like .jpg.

You can see the example here . The attached file is different but when previewing , the main file is played.

Another issue we get frequently is that when video documents are viewed many times the card is greyed out and the conversions box is empty and you cannot play the video. Refreshing the browser sometimes loads it correctly. Does it covert the video for player every time it is viewed ?

We don’t want to change the preview of main file. I am talking about the preview which pops up when the preview button next to the attached file is clicked. This works correctly for the attached jpg file but when attached video preview is clicked it again displays the main video. Please see below the highlighted button.
