thumbnails not updating

when changes to a nuxeo file are edited and saved in ps, the panel is not updating with the new thumbnail in the ps panel or in the indd panel, or in the nuxeo app. The default Adobe Links panel does indicate a change with the standard yellow warning triangle. If you double click the warning triangle on the adobe links panel, the image updates in the indd file, but again, not in the nuxeo panel thumbnails.

Logs I can locate do not show any information since the last restart of the the server.
