Search field misses first typed charaters sometimes

When typing a search it often misses the 2 or 3 first characters typed as if the search input was not ready / initialised.

When I type myfilename the search input will only have a ilename value for example.
It seems that the caracters myf are there but hidden -> the result list still have a filtered result even when I clean the visible ilename caracters in search.
