Strange document view for Workspace and types extending Workspace

What
Look and feel of the Workspace view as generated by Studio does not match the traditional look and feel of folderish documents, leading to stange behavior when using the drawer navigation.
It seems the generated Workspace view is not intended for Workspace type...

How to reproduce

• create a project
• inside built-in types, configure the Workspace "view"
• create a Workspace document
• create a folderish child document
• deploy the project and refresh the browser screen (Ctrl-Shift-R or Shift+<F5>)
• witness the only way to navigate in document under the workspace document is then to use the drawer bar (no view of children documents)
• using the drawer bar, navigate between child and workspace document one or two times
• witness there is no clear/refresh between views or child and workspace

Expected result
The traditional view for folderish documents seems expected by WebUI for Workspace document.
