The new default configuration uses only 1 database. If you were using the hsqldb datasources from 5.1.5, you need to save the datasources configurations files (it uses one database per datasource) . To do so just copy the ***-ds.xml from the 5.1.5 nuxeo.ear/datasources folder to the same folder in 5.1.6. You can remove nuxeo.ear/datasources/unified-nuxeo-ds.xml file in 5.1.6.

If a user choose to change from hsql to another db, she should have, at least for ds setting, only one change to make.
