Fix storage and retrieval of array properties

When setting an array of calendar instances on a document, it is read as an array of long.
When setting an array of Long instances, it is read as a primitive array of long objects.
Dates should be returned as an array of Calendar instances, and the API that deals with Serializable objects should not return primitive arrays.
