Select / deselect does not behave properly in print view thumbnail mode

Steps:

1. create a few files in a workspace
2. set the workspace to use Thumbnail mode
3. go to contextual tools and choose print
4. in the print view that comes up, select all and then deselect all

This could initiate a discussion about how or why the print view has or should have dynamic features.
